GUO ARE DANIEL BLUMBERG AND SEYMOUR WRIGHT

GUO is a multidisciplinary duo formed of Daniel Blumberg and Seymour Wright. Their third album ‚GUO4‘ will be released in September on Mute.

GUO are due to perform on the occasion of the closing night of the super successful HYPER! A JOURNEY INTO ART AND MUSIC exhibition at Deichtorhallen Hamburg on August 4, 2019.

One day later, on August 5, 2019, GUO will give their FIRST EVER concert in Berlin at Urban Spree as part of situation 56, that will be embedded in a rare DJ set by Max Dax (Very Unimportant People Lounge / VUP Lounge).

Daniel Blumberg is an artist and musician from London. He is currently exhibiting at the Deichtorhallen in Hamburg and recently exhibited his debut solo show at Union Gallery in London. Blumberg’s acclaimed album on Mute, ‚Minus‘, was released last year.

Seymour Wright is a musician and writer, currently working in London. Wright’s work is about the creative, situated friction of learning, ideas, people and the saxophone – music, history and technique. Recent collaborations have included projects with footwork founder RPBoo and drummer Paul Abbott (as the XT duo)
